What's In My Bag (Psychic Edition)

Close-up of a brown leather bag with a textured handle and smooth, stitched surface, capturing the rich, warm tone and grain detail.

Even outside of sessions, I’m still naturally sensitive to people, environments, and the overall energy around me. This doesn’t mean I’m constantly “reading” everyone I meet — professional readings require focus, intention, and the right headspace — but sensitivity is something that quietly exists in the background of everyday life. One of the biggest misconceptions about psychic work is the idea that intuition is always active in a constant, switched-on way. In reality, there is a clear difference between naturally picking up on atmosphere and intentionally opening into a reading for a client, and those two states are not something that blur together in the way people often assume. Because of this, the things I carry with me tend to be a balance of practical everyday essentials and items that help me stay organised, grounded, mentally clear, and physically comfortable throughout the day. Over time, I’ve realised I reach for the same things almost everywhere I go, whether I’m out for a few hours, working remotely, or staying somewhere overnight. Usually, the contents of a psychic’s bag are far less mysterious than people expect, with most items simply there to support focus, regulate energy, prevent burnout, and make every day feel a little steadier and more supported.
