Want to start a business, but don’t know what to do?
Have you ever thought about starting your own business but not sure where to begin, or what to do? You're not alone. So many people dream of escaping the 9-5 grind to pursue their passions or be their own boss. Before starting my business, I worked in Child Care. Despite enjoying working with children, I craved independence and freedom. Little did I know, my lifelong passion for spirituality, creativity and psychic readings would become my full time business. If you're feeling stuck, I've been there. Here are some insights from my journey to help you kickstart yours.
What are your interests, passions? Start by reflecting on what truly excites and motivates you. Consider activities, hobbies, or topics that you enjoy spending time on. Your business will feel more fulfilling if it aligns with your passions and interests.
Identify your skills Look over any previous skills and talents. What are you naturally good at? What skills have you developed through education, work experience, or hobbies? Your strengths can guide you towards potential business opportunities.
Take on board what people say Pay attention to feedback from others, especially when they recognise your strengths or suggest areas where you excel. Sometimes, others can see potential in us, that we may overlook ourselves.
Network with people, talk to friends Engage with your network and seek advice from friends, family, mentors, and peers. Share your ideas and goals with them, and be open to their insights and suggestions. Networking can also lead to valuable connections and opportunities.
Brainstorm ideas, plan Set aside time for brainstorming, to come up with business ideas. Think creatively and explore different possibilities. Once you have a few ideas, create a plan outlining your goals, target audience, marketing strategy, and action steps.
Education: Study, Training, Research Invest in your knowledge and skills through education, training, and research. Take courses, attend workshops, or conduct market research to deepen your understanding of your chosen industry or niche. Continuous learning is key to success in entrepreneurship.
Who are your influencers, people you look up to? Reflect on people who inspire you and whose success you admire. Whether they are artists, coaches, photographers, writers etc - this can assist you with coming up with ideas. Engage with their content, whether it's through books, podcasts, blogs, or social media. Absorb their wisdom and seek inspiration for your own business journey.
Talk to me ;) or another psychicConsidering a conversation with a psychic, like myself, can be an enlightening step in brainstorming potential business avenues. Psychics are able to uncover hidden talents and explore unexplored areas, offering fresh perspectives on your business path. A psychic session can provide valuable insights to assist you with navigating your business journey.
Ignore self-doubt: Self-doubt is so normal, but try not to be shackled by self-doubt or limiting beliefs that threaten to hinder your progress. Embrace a mindset of confidence in your abilities and trust in your vision. Recognise that challenges and uncertainties can be a big part of the business journey.
