Reiki, a Japanese energy healing technique, created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the 1920's and has since gained worldwide popularity. Practitioners use universal life-force energy, intentions, and symbols to facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. When energy becomes stagnant and blocked in the body, it can lead to physical injuries and emotional distress. Reiki Practitioners help remove these blocks to restore the flow of energy within the body.
To become a Reiki Practitioner, you must receive training from a Reiki Master/Teacher. However, it's essential to understand that while sessions promote energy healing, Reiki Practitioners are not trained medical experts and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

What is the difference between Hands-On Reiki and Distance Reiki?
Hands-On Reiki:
In hands-on Reiki, the practitioner places their hands directly on or just above the recipient's body. The practitioner channels the healing energy through their hands into the recipient's energy field and physical body. The hands-on approach allows for physical contact and may provide a sense of comfort and relaxation for some people.
Distance Reiki:
In distance Reiki, the practitioner sends healing energy to the recipient from a distance, without physical contact. The practitioner uses intention, visualisation, and Reiki symbols to connect with the recipient's energy field and send healing energy across space and time. Distance Reiki sessions can be conducted regardless of the recipient's location, making it accessible to those who may not be physically present with the practitioner.
Both hands-on Reiki and Distance Reiki are equally effective and work the same way - channeling universal life-force energy to promote healing and balance in the recipient's body, mind, and spirit. The effectiveness of Reiki is not limited by physical proximity, as energy is not confined by space or time. Many practitioners and clients report experiencing similar benefits and sensations in both hands-on and distance Reiki sessions.
(At this stage I am only running Distance Reiki Sessions)
